Frequently Asked Questions
Origination is the cost of setting up the printing process which ultimately transfers your artwork onto your product. It may sometimes be referred to as 'Set Up' or 'Screens'. If you are printing in more than one colour, you will be charged Origination for each colour you have. For example a 2 colour print would be charged as 2 x £30 = £60 in total.
How quickly can I have my products once ordered?
The delivery time varies subject to quantity, branding, type of product. We have products which can be turned around in 14 days, other can take 3-4 weeks. A small range of our products are produced in China and can take 12 weeks or more depending on shipping.
Why can't carriage charge be included as one when I order more than one product?
Our carriage/ delivery charges are based on the quantity and shipping address or addresses. Most carriage quotes are based on delivery to one UK mainland address. If you want your order to be split between several locations, you will be charged for each location you deliver to based on the quantity. If you order more than one product, they will often be delivered from different suppliers therefore you will incur a carriage charge for each.
Why can I not always see a pre-production sample?
In some cases, in order to produce a pre-production sample the factory need to set up screens with your specific design of which there is a charge.
In what format should I supply my logo and artwork and why do you require pantone colours for some orders?
When you place your order with us we will let you know what format to send your logo and artwork. This can vary from product to product. Usually we ask for it to be saved as either a high resolution PDF (at least 300dpi) or a vectorised EPS (Illustrator file). Sometimes we may request pantone colours from you. Pantone colours are required so that we can accurately match the print colour to your brand guidelines.
When and how do I pay for my products?
When you order from us for the first time you will be invoiced on a Pro-forma basis. For subsequent orders you will be invoiced on receipt of your order. You can pay by BACS (our BACS details will be at the bottom of the invoice) or by cheque. We do not accept Credit Card payments.
